Be a Bear at Yogi's
These photos are from 2003 of Stephanie, Timmy, Rebecca and Julie -- all since departed the scene. Yogi's is the only place with true dive bartenders on the Upper West Side. We dare you to name a place that can compete that comes even close. A reviewer on Murphguide.com wrote: "This place is substance without form. The fun of going there is enjoying the people. The girls who work behind the bar can create the most charming, raucous, rip-roaringest good time you ever remember (if you can still remember). They get the girls dancing on the bar. They get everybody blitzed. And if they like you, the buy backs come fast and often... they don't take lip from anyone but if they like you they can't do enough for you."
